As an Algorithm Development Engineer, you will leverage your skills and expertise to research, architect, model, simulate, test, certify, and enhance cutting-edge algorithms for our products and services. You will be responsible for developing complex system architectures within contextual modeling platforms, guiding them from operational concept through preliminary and detailed design, simulation, and testing.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Develop systems that meet cost, schedule, quality, customer requirements, and industry standards.
+ Define system requirements and architectures based on customer needs.
+ Develop algorithms for Electronic Support Measures (ESM) systems, including but not limited to:
+ Emitter Deinterleaving
+ Emitter Geolocation
+ Radar Pulse Detection
+ Interferometer DF Processing
+ Amplitude Comparison DF Processing
+ Translate complex algorithms into models implementable by firmware and/or software engineers.
+ Work with and lead a team of engineers.
+ Contribute to and preside over design reviews.
+ Understand, plan, and execute technical activities in accordance with SNC policies, procedures, and customer requirements.
+ Develop proposal responses, estimate work efforts, and document the basis of these estimates.
+ Interface with customers.
**Must-haves:**
+ Bachelor of Science degree in System Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent; advanced degree desired.
+ 14 or more years of relevant experience.
+ Experience with the development of algorithms used for ESM applications.
+ 14+ years of work experience in a systems engineering or engineering capacity.
+ An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
+ Ability to create complex processing algorithms to meet customer and system requirements.
+ Proficiency in documenting architectures, requirements, use cases, CONOPs, system control and status, test plans, test specs, and test procedures.
+ Experience overseeing a team from system concept development to integration, testing, and production transition.
+ Prior experience in estimating work and schedules in support of proposal activities, and documenting in Basis of Estimates and Technical Write-ups.
**Preferred:**
+ Active TS/SCI clearance.
+ Experience with ELINT and ESM systems.
+ Experience developing ESM algorithms.
+ Experience developing deinterleaving and library matching algorithms.
+ Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing.
+ Experience using MatLab, Excel and Python to analyze system performance.
+ System engineering experience in development, writing, and supporting business development and proposals.
+ Experience using Machine Learning and AI techniques to solve complex problems.
