Senior Principal Technical Program Manager-ProdDev

We are looking for hands-on TPM’s with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in all areas of software engineering: distributed systems, identity, security, observability, and user experience.

This is a greenfield opportunity to design and build new cloud centric applications from the ground up. We are growing fast, still at an early stage, and working on ambitious new initiatives. A TPM at any level can have significant technical and business impact here. Job Requirements:

Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and Development/Engineering staff at all levels including the executive level. Solid analytical, planning, and interpersonal skills with an ability to handle competing demands. Strong knowledge and understanding of business need with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence. Strong experience of software development process models as well as expert knowledge of both Agile and traditional project management principles and practices and the ability to blend them together in the right proportions to fit a project and business environment. Strong skills to evaluate product performance metrics, as well as diagnose and resolve issues. Experience with technical design discussions and ability to summarize complex trade-offs and options in presentation and technical documentation. Ability to effectively represent engineering perspectives to partner organizations, product teams, and executive leadership. Ability to work across and engage individuals and teams located across multiple geographies and or cultures. Work as a lead contributor individually, and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others as needed/requested. Drive other obligations management duties, as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer sciences, software engineering, technology management, business management, or similar. 12+ years of experience as hands-on technical project / program manager; preferably in a related industry. Advanced knowledge of the full life cycle of product development and experience launching and operating customer-facing cloud services.

Preferred Qualifications:

12+ years of project management, product design or related experience.  Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent work experience Thorough understanding of public cloud infrastructure services, such as Compute, Storage, Identity and Networking. Experience in the healthcare industry and / or electronic medical records systems. Demonstrated knowledge of OCI or AWS, Azure, Google IaaS, SaaS and PaaS services.
