Qualifications The Senior Privacy & Compliance Analyst will assist with the enhancement and maintenance of the HIPAA Compliance program by collaborating with stakeholders to assess policies, design training, conduct investigations and perform related analytics. The Analyst will also assist in the design, preparation, and presentation of reports to leadership as well as preparation of reports and metrics for the Compliance Committee of the Board of Directors. He/she will establish and maintain key relationships with operational leadership and staff to maximize effectiveness, efficiency, and consistent messaging across all lines of business. As a member of the AccentCare Compliance Department, the Analyst will also participate in a variety of compliance projects and initiatives. Assists the AccentCare Privacy Officer with administration of the organization’s HIPAA Privacy Program including the Privacy Officer Designee Program. Serves as a HIPAA subject matter expert and resource for the Compliance Department and Privacy Officer , partnering with the CISO and IT Security team as appropriate. Partners with the Privacy Officer to regularly review, update, and enhance AccentCare’s privacy programs. Coordinates with Privacy Officer Designees at AccentCare facilities to review and investigate reported disclosures of protected information. Documents all investigations in accordance with department standards. Develops and oversees appropriate mitigation and corrective action, as needed. Develops and delivers data privacy training for a variety of audiences, partnering across learning organizations to ensure privacy training has maximum impact and value. Conducts compliance investigations, assessments, and reviews, as assigned. Comply with applicable legal requirements, standards, policies, and procedures including, but not limited to the Compliance Program: Code of Conduct, HIPAA, and Documentation Standards. If you meet these qualifications, we want to meet you! Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Health Management, or other related field. Minimum of 5 years of compliance, internal audit, or related field in a healthcare environment. Experience conducting investigations and HIPAA assessments HIM or privacy/compliance certification preferred Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare privacy and security requirements
