Your role within the team:
Prepare and review of design basis documents for both nuclear and conventional systems of the nuclear power station e.g. design specification, over-pressure protection reports and design reports, Drawings, BOMs, SCL, etc.Experienced in Refurbishment, Modifications and technologies enhancement of existing Mechanical and Piping Systems Structures and Components (SSCs) in operating stations from Conceptual Design to Available For Service (AFS) and Close Out following established Client specific Engineering Risk Based Modification (i.e. ECC) processes and procedures.Experience in plant islanding/lay-up engineering. Mechanical, Process and Piping Systems integration/design and analysis for BOP SSCs (e.g. Turbine Auxiliary Systems, Moisture Separators/Reheaters, Water Treatment Plant, Main Condenser, HVAC, Station Drainage, Cranes, Compressed Air Systems, Water Systems, Chillers, etc).Prepare and review Engineering Change packages following OPG Change Control (ECC) process.Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.Perform calculations and assessment as required.Why choose AtkinsRéalis as an employer?

Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from an accredited University with a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.Registered Professional Engineer in the Province of Ontario, and member in good standing.Working knowledge of nuclear codes and standards, including CSA N285.0, CSA N289, ASME Section III Division 1 and ASME B31.1.Knowledge of Nuclear Safety Analysis of Multi Unit Nuclear Plant and ability to use the analysis in the Working knowledge of OPG/Bruce Power ECC work processes and procedures including EC module of Asset Suit/Maximo is an asset.Experience of analytical tools e.g. ANSYS and Mathcad is required.Excellent written and oral communication skills.Results driven individual with strong interpersonal skills.Are you up for this challenge?
