Where You Will Work
Located approximately 50 miles northeast of Safford, Arizona on U.S. Highway 191, Morenci operations (an open-pit copper mining complex) has been in continuous operation since 1939. The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a low-grade run-of-mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode.

Description Under minimal supervision, provides technical knowledge and guidance for designated interface groups. Provides installation, diagnostics, repair and reliability of industrial control systems and equipment. Interfaces between staff Engineers, external technical representatives, operations, and maintenance personnel Experience with control system maintenance and associated project development/implementation Provides installation, diagnostics, repair and reliability of industrial control equipment (i.e. instrumentation, industrial communications, DCS, HMI, PLC, PC interface, and third party equipment) Actively participates in safety and environmental programs and other programs determined by management Performs other duties as assigned QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
Completion of an approved electrical/instrumentation certification program and one (1) year of experience in electrical/instrumentation repair and maintenance in an industrial setting, OR Minimum of five (5) years of electrical/instrumentation repair and maintenance in an industrial setting Experience in SCADA, HMI/PLC or DCS based control systems Strong technical knowledge in communication, interfaces and protocols Ability to read, understand and apply information from technical manuals, prints, and schematics for trouble shooting and repair Valid State Driver's License Effective written and verbal communication skills to satisfy training, safety, and electronic message transmission policies of the company Ability to work weekends, holidays, rotating shifts and both scheduled and unscheduled overtime as business needs dictate Able to perform the essential functions of the job at the time of the job offer with or without reasonable accommodations
Preferred High School diploma or GED Associates of Applied Science degree in a technical field HMI/PLC and/or DCS programming and troubleshooting experience Understanding of networking fundamentals Understanding of historical data collection systems

What We Offer You
The estimated pay range for this role is currently $35.00 - $47.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
