What you will do:

Member of the DCS and Pi Systems Management Team Support day-to-day operations and troubleshoot issues with instrumentation and operations that may arise Collaborate with the metallurgical department, production, and maintenance groups to implement and maintain successful control strategies Maintain and expand the APC (advanced process control) portfolio. This includes Model Predictive Control, Advanced Regulatory Control, Inferential Measurements, etc. Lead instrumentation, automation, and process control projects to improve efficiencies in the mill and loadout Work with Nutrien teams to develop opportunities for utilizing emergent technologies, specifically AI, and implementing them into the overall mill & loadout control strategies

 

What you will bring: 

Degree in Chemical or Electrical Engineering, or other relevant discipline and industry experience Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Mineral processing or relevant experience Demonstrated commitment to safety Professional Engineering Status level designation Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong process controls and programming education  Able to manage multiple priorities Experience working with DCS, specifically DeltaV
