We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Senior Process Engineer to join a leading Company located in the Randleman, NC surrounding area.
We are seeking a productive, bold, determined individual able to provide the highest level of technical direction/leadership related to manufacturing processes at the plant level. The right candidate will be able to plan, develop, and implement plant information systems and information architecture, including the development and implementation of new functionality, support, and maintenance of existing functionality (CAD, KBE, MES). This position includes both senior technical support and application development responsibilities.   Responsibilities:Responsible for problem-solving issues related to our engineering system that provides instructions and programs to the shop floor through our MES systemsHas responsibility for specifying, developing, and distributing improvements in the systems architecture (Ex: technical infrastructure, generation of machine/operator/gauging instructions, shop floor user interface)Show technical leadership skills in the application of information technologies for CAD/CAM/CAE, shop floor information systems, and manufacturing solutionsLead systems-related projects including planning, testing, execution, and implementation of new software functionalityResolve user problems and/or escalate to the person responsible for resolving the problemCommunicate anticipated results and problem resolutions to internal customersMaintain and enhance the integration of manufacturing and business systemsPerform system maintenance, continuous improvement, and major development efforts to support the manufacturing facilityLearn and understand the business processes and the technical computer architecture that has been integrated into the plant to facilitate those processes Basic Hiring Criteria: Bachelor's Degree in EngineeringMinimum 2 years of experience in Computer programming/Coding required; 5 years preferred
Desired Qualifications: Computer Programming/Coding--experience with programming languages (ex. PLSQL, SQL, Java, or similar)Experience in a manufacturing environment with automated engineering systems providing programs/instructions to manufacturing operations is preferredGood team player with a personality that can work well with others
