TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity to work on the permanent roles of a European EPC company headquartered in the Czech Republic as Senior Process Engineer. The location will be Kolkata in West Bengal.

Job Description:

Position: Senior Process Engineer

Location: Kolkata, India

Responsibilities:

Lead and manage process engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. Develop and optimize process designs, including process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs). Conduct feasibility studies, process simulations, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential issues. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers, to ensure integrated project delivery. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and other team members. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines. Participate in client meetings, presenting technical solutions and project updates. Oversee the commissioning and start-up of new process systems, ensuring smooth and efficient operation. Continuously monitor and improve existing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality. Stay updated with the latest advancements in process engineering and implement best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in process engineering, preferably in the chemical, petrochemical, or oil and gas industries. Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, CHEMCAD). Strong knowledge of process design, optimization, and safety principles. Experience with project management and leading engineering teams. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., ASME, API, OSHA). Ability to travel to project sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with advanced process control systems and automation. Knowledge of sustainability practices and energy efficiency improvements.
