Senior Process Engineer

TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Process Engineer role to work for an amazing EPCM client in Vancouver, BC. This position comes with a great opportunity to work on medium to large sized projects.

Salary Range: $180K-$200K/year - Salary is negotiable depending on level of experience.

Responsibilities: Collaborate with client representatives, including project, planning, process, and instrument engineers, as well as operations and maintenance teams, to ensure alignment with contract requirements and expectations. Create and manage Process Activity Plans for projects of different scales. Formulate and oversee Process Technology Quality Plans for projects of varying sizes. Lead a team of engineers to create drawings and specifications for various project phases, including study, feasibility, Front End Engineering Development (FEED), Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, and Construction (EPFC). Develop and manage Process Technology Quality Plans for projects, ensuring adherence to relevant policies, procedures, regulations, and international standards. Work with engineers to develop interdisciplinary drawings and specifications. Take on technical leadership for organizing, executing, and coordinating complex Process Technology projects. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree in engineering or an equivalent international qualification, along with at least eighteen years of relevant experience, is required.  Candidates must hold a recognized Canadian Professional registration. Extensive experience in EPC projects is preferred. Keen attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently within time constraints. Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor junior and intermediate engineers. Proven experience in designing and constructing mineral processing facilities for extracting copper, nickel, gold, or other base and precious metals. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Possess the technical knowledge necessary to perform job-related tasks. Proficient in verbal and written English communication, with strong report writing capabilities. Ability to understand and apply local, provincial, and federal regulations and guidelines. Strong communication skills, capable of effectively interacting with management, colleagues, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
