Senior Process Engineer

The Opportunity

The Senior Process Engineer will lead the engineering team for the Bethlehem Fulfillment Center and work with operations to improve customer service and satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and with a focus on cost savings. You will also manage capital projects to support facility and process improvements. Additionally, you will be responsible for process improvement, methods and measurement, utilizing MOST trainings. You will report to the Senior Manager of Process Engineer and Operational Excellence.

Your Impact

Responsible for all engineering deliverables within the Bethlehem Fulfillment Center.Conduct direct labor studies using acceptable engineering practices to determine areas for improvement.Support preparations of departmental budget, including material, workforce, equipment, and outside procurement costs and operate within those approved parameters.Analyze distribution methods and standards.Recommend improvements (technology, process, material handling) to maximize workflow and spatial use.Process design and implementation plans that result in improved service, cost savings, or improved quality of services.Maintain facility AutoCAD layouts.Partner with Operations to develop preferred methods/Standard Operating Procedures for the warehouse.

What You Bring

5+ years of industrial engineering experience.3+ years in high-volume warehousing environment (distribution or fulfillment).A BS Degree in Industrial Engineering or Operations Research or related discipline is required.Maynard Operational Sequence Technique (MOST) Certified.Project Management ExperienceLean or Six Sigma training
