Within the Business Unit Separation Technology, our Process Design Mass Transfer Components group plays a key role in delivering cutting-edge solutions. If you are looking for an exciting opportunity to contribute your expertise in a dynamic and innovative environment, we want to hear from you! **Your main tasks and responsibilities:** + Process design for separation columns and further key equipment (e. g. heat exchangers, pumps, valves, etc). + Execution of and participation in extended scope projects like Design Studies or Basic Engineering. + Development of technical concepts in cooperation with the clients. + Translate results from laboratory tests and measurements into an industrial unit design. + Close cooperation with sales personnel, application managers, project managers, mechanical engineers, and other specialists. + Sales support during the inquiry, offer and negotiation phase, especially for complex projects. + On-site support for start-up, optimization and troubleshooting of plants. **To succeed in this role, you will need:** + University degree in Chemical / Process Engineering, or closely related field. + Proven experience as a process engineer in the chemical or oil and gas sector. + Familiarity with state-of-the-art design tools (SimSci Pro/II, Aspen HTFS, HYSIS etc.). + Participated in the execution of engineering projects (FEED, Basic Engineering etc.). + Strong technical expertise, paired with interpersonal skills - enabling you to effectively drive solutions and cooperation with internal and external clients alike. + Fluent in English and German, additional languages such as French are welcome. **What we offer you:** + 25 days holiday (exclusive of bank holidays) + service days + Defined contribution pension scheme + Employee Assistance Program/health care + On-site car parking/public transport allowance + Access to a wide range of discounts No visa or work permit support can be provided for this role. **Do you have a question about the role?** **Sulzer is an equal opportunity employer.
