Senior Procurement Compliance Specialist

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

With limited direction, this position is responsible for performing contract and/or procurement analysis to ensure compliance to regulations, contractual requirements and Company policy.  Performs Procurement and Subcontract File Reviews across all dollar levels and contract types.  Communicates findings and deficiencies to the Buyer or Subcontract Administrator in a way that fosters teamwork.Analyzes data and situations and develops solutions to complex problems; influences and guides on actions to be taken. Compiles and analyzes data to identify trends and recommend areas for process improvement; may develop new standards or techniques as required; develops appropriate electronic and hard copy reports and records. Contributes to the development, implementation and audit policies, procedures and associated documentation. Maintains awareness of regulatory changes to ensure compliance with appropriate statutes, regulations and Company practices.Represent the organization as a consultant to management and external spokesperson for the organization. May make internal or external presentations as required. Provides direction, leadership and training to support and less experienced professional and technical staffMay participate in the selection, development and training of staff. Maintains the strict confidentiality of sensitive information.Performs other duties as assigned. Responsible for observing all laws, regulations and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.Supports Government (Prime End Customer, DCMA, and DCAA) Audits.Develops and updates procurement policy and procedures to ensure that the company’s practices are in compliance with Government and Public Law Requirements while maintaining an efficient procurement system.
