Senior Procurement Manager
**Summary** **AJANTA CONSULTING, LLC** Wright Patterson AFB **THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON BID AWARD** The **Senior Procurement Manager** shall aid in research for the Airman Systems Directorate, Airman Biosciences Division 711 HPW/RHB, Biomedical Impast of Flight Branch (RHBF). This position shall provide direct support to the Defense Health Program (DHP) Medical Human Performance (HP) Program, Product Line Lead and Lead Program Manager to include the R&D Support Program personnel and laboratories that carry out the medical HP research mission. **Responsibilities** + Support the development of electronic products required for portfolio contracts management oversight, collecting contract performance parameters, incremental funding status, and deliverables. + Support project reporting and deliverables to Division, Wing officials, and identified program/project stakeholders both ad hoc weekly and other formal program reviews. + Be logged into AF Teams during their work hours when practicable and display an accurate status indicator while logged in. + Provide acquisition/procurement expertise to support operations within the medical-funded Human Performance Research portfolio, while applying DoD acquisition policy and principles to guide and execute program/project through the AFRL project life cycle. + Conduct all necessary contracting activities required to support project contract awards within the portfolio. This shall include but is not limited to preparing supporting documents for Request for Proposal release, technical evaluations, and ensuring the necessary controls are in place to monitor the contract once awarded. + Draw conclusions and work with the project/program managers to devise solutions to problems relating to improvement of acquisition effectiveness and compliance. + Support the management and monitoring of multiple contracts to include tracking of Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables across multiple contracts. + Analyzing contractor-reported data to support program reviews, highlight areas of concern/ issues, and document performance. + Work with a team of finance, contracting, business analyst, scientists, engineers, clinicians, research assistants, and other support contractors to collect and analyze project data relevant to support program execution, assessment, and reporting. + Ensure discovered contract reporting issues are clearly defined and the necessary corrective actions are implemented in a timely manner and/or risk a mitigation measure is in place to support research project(s) execution. + Other duties as assigned **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in business systems, finance, project management, systems engineering, computer engineering, information systems, or computer science. + Master’s degree in business administration/management, finance, project management, systems engineering, computer engineering, information systems, and/or computer science. Preferred + Possess one of the following minimum training requirements: + DAWIA career field certification (APDP Level I or higher) in Contracting (CON) + Program Management (PM). + Minimum five (5) years of demonstrated work experience as a DoD contracting support and/or program management in a Department of Defense (DoD) work environment. **Knowledge, Skills and Abilities** + Ability to research the FAR; and have an understanding of contract fiscal restrictions/regulations and various types of contract vehicles. + Experience working in a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) work environment preferred. + Ability to demonstrate organizational, management, and communication skills while performing the tasks. + Proficiency in Microsoft software programs to include: Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel spreadsheets + Ability to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) based on the potential access to confidential, proprietary, and/or sensitive information. + Demonstrate capability to collect, analyze, and appraise acquisition data required. **Physical Demands** _:_ (The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
