The Senior Procurement Specialist will enhance procurement operations through effective analytics and program management, ensuring the optimization of procurement processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven insights. This role will work across multiple verticals and categories across all Abbott business units globally. **What You’ll Work On:** **PROJECT MANAGEMENT** + Support implementation and management of technology (e.g. Source to Pay), category strategies and processes + Develop and maintain procurement analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and drive improvements + Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within procurement and Abbott businesess in alignment with organizational goals + Communicate and drive change globally as a change champion within the Business Excellence organization in alignment with organizational goals. Lead resolution on issues within Source to Pay technology improvements. **PROCESS MANAGEMENT/IMPROVEMENT** + Develop and present reports and dashboards to senior management, highlighting key metrics and insights. + Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements + Seek innovative ways to maintain and improve procurement processes, cycle times, total acquisition costs, and customer service levels. + Conduct regular process reviews and audits to identify areas for improvement + Utilize data analytics to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing procurement strategies and operations. + Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics. + Conduct spend analysis, supplier performance evaluation, and market trend analysis to support decision-making. + Support implemenation and management of procurement technologies such as e-procurement systems, supplier management software, and automation tools. + Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in procurement and supply chain management. + Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure seamless integration of technology solutions **STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT** + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of procurement processes. + Seek and support business relationships with Category Managers and Business Stakeholders + Work with cross functional teams for continuous improvement of the Source to Pay technology and trouble-shoot issues + Meet regularly with stakeholders and support functions to ensure good customer satisfaction and continuous improvement + Exhibit cultural awareness with foreign business entities + Assist with change management, leading business to adopt change and embrace technology and supplier consolidations + Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and supply chain teams, to align procurement strategies with business objectives. **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics or a related field. MBA or relevant certification is a plus. + 4-6 years of procurement, **process improvement,** project management, data analytics and/or technology integration + Source to Pay Process Experience + **Strong data analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Smartsheet)** + Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights + Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully leading improvement initiatives **Preferred Qualifications** + Category Management and/or Category Strategy understanding + Strong expertise in SAP Ariba technology and processes + Excellent project management skills with a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams. + Ability to create PowerPoint decks and presentations + Functional experience in Procurement and other functions + Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels + Excellent problem-solving skills + Project Management skills + Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques + Ability to create PowerPoint decks **Apply Now** * Participants who complete a short wellness assessment qualify for FREE coverage in our HIP PPO medical plan.
