Senior Product Analyst - (employer: Sirius XM Radio LLC; job location: Oakland, CA) - Partner with product managers, designers, engineers, data scientists and marketing teams to provide product usage and trend insights. Analyze listener interactions to optimize listener experience. Provide key business insights that drive decision-making on trends of in-car listening. Manage analytics lifecycle for products, from concept to delivery. Visualize key metrics and communicate them out to product, marketing, and executive teams. Implement, manage, and reconcile internal metrics to drive product decisions. Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Business Development, Engineering, and Marketing, among other groups, to identify key product opportunities. Develop quantitative analysis, ad hoc reports, models and A/B tests to support monetization decisions. Conduct ad hoc analysis to guide engineering around bugs and issues. Requirements: Master’s degree in Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics, plus two years of experience in the position offered or a product analyst, data analyst or data scientist position or Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics, plus five years of progressive post- Bachelor’s experience in the position offered or a product analyst, data analyst or data scientist position. All required experience must have included performing product analytics, including identifying core product challenges, informing product decision-making through data, documenting rationale for decisions, and utilizing research and insights; applying knowledge of causal inference analysis to conduct data analysis and provide product recommendations; performing data extraction, manipulation, transformation and visualization; synthesizing large data sets into key insights; working with relational databases, SQL query languages, no-SQL architectures, Python and R. #LI-DNI This role entails hybrid work, with time split between working in our Oakland, CA office and flexibility to telecommute from another U.S. location.
