The RISC Ops team is at the heart of our customer safety practices in Amazon. As a Senior Product Compliance Associate, you’ll work closely with a wide variety of Amazon colleagues and external vendors. In this role, every day is an opportunity to learn more about the complexities of compliance.
Key job responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a Senior Product Compliance Associate may include:
- search for and classify products in accordance with Amazon’s regulatory obligations regarding these products.
- taking appropriate measures to protect customers from recalled or unsafe products;
- communicating with sellers around product compliance documentation and reinstatement
Also, in addition to the above basic responsibilities, you are expected to be involved in broader organizational activities. This may include the following tasks:
- search for opportunities for improvement;
- training and mentoring of other employees;
- analysis of quality and problems related to the process, as well as recommendations for improvement;
- notifying the supervisor/manager of process updates received from stakeholders;
- communication with clients, keeping notes and documentation on such communication.
A day in the life
In your role as a Senior Product Compliance Associate, you will ensure that safety remains a priority for colleagues, vendors, and customers. Our Senior Product Compliance Associates are spread across the globe, from China, to India, Jordan, Poland, The Netherlands and Costa Rica.
Basic Qualifications
- Highschool diploma;
- High level of English language proficiency orally and in writing (B2);
- Sufficient level of written proficiency in French (B1);
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in the field of business processes based on data;
- Knowledge of MS Office, MS Outlook and MS Excel would be an advantage;
- Experience in outsourcing business processes, operational processes; database management will be an advantage;
- Ability to make decisions based on the recommendations provided and in the presence of unclear contexts;
- Extensive experience with the Internet and search engines;
- Quick search for the necessary information about the goods;
- Attention to detail;
- Ability to analyze and find patterns in large data sets;
