As we continue to develop new products and push our existing products forward, we’re looking for Senior Product Designers to redefine the future of working with data, from 0 -> 1. Product Designers at Snowflake work on a variety of surfaces like data visualization, code editors, monitoring and alerting, marketplace experiences, collaboration, and more.

YOUR ROLE:Identify and drive design opportunities by connecting the dots between user and business needsCollaborate and effectively influence your engineering and product partners to design and deliver excellent productsWork end-to-end by identifying opportunities, establishing the vision, and working with engineering to deliver high quality, robust solutionsCollaborate with the broader design team to ensure a seamless product experiencePartner with researchers, data scientists, and product managers to drive solutions by leveraging qualitative and quantitative customer insightsDeliver detailed, robust design solutions, and work directly with engineering to to ensure a high quality product reaches the hands of our customersUtilize and extend Snowflake’s Design SystemDevelop strong rationale for design decisions, and articulate your perspective

 

YOUR EXPERIENCE:5+ years as a product designer at product-lead companiesExperience collaborating closely with engineering and product partnersEnd-to-end ownership of meaningful features or surfacesYour end-user advocacy has shaped product experiences you can point toShipped products that have simplified complex workflowsYou have iterated on shipped products based on customer usage and feedback

 

NICE TO HAVE:Experience in fast-paced environments with quick delivery and iteration cyclesAbility to prototype either alone or with engineering partners to get out of mockups fasterInterest in the data space and cutting edge technologiesExperience with web technologies like HTML, Javascript/React, and CSS

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role: The estimated base salary range for this role is $160,000 - $215,250.Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
