Senior Product Designer

At Collective Health we believe it’s time for a new day in healthcare where as members we are informed and empowered to make the right care choices when the decisions are urgent and critical. 

At Collective Health, we’re on a mission to transform people’s healthcare experience from confusing and complicated to empowering and trustworthy. Our UX Product Design team is essential to achieving this goal by helping our members live healthier and happier lives. We do this by crafting accessible user experiences that deliver the right information at the right time, in ways that truly meet their needs.

We’re now looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Member Experience team to bring the core aspects of a health plan to life for our members. By collaborating with your scrum teams, you’ll play a key role in developing a best-in-class product experience.

Your responsibilities:

Understand and prioritize user needs, preferences, and pain points, and apply these insights to your design decisions to advocate effectively for optimal user experiences.

Craft, test, and rigorously iterate on multiple user-centric design solutions to maximize clarity, performance, and accessibility while adhering to high-quality brand standards and demonstrating superior UI design skills..

Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and ensure design solutions are feasible and aligned with technical constraints.

Qualifications:

Desire to make a significant impact in the healthcare space

Strong UI design skills with a portfolio showcasing exceptional user interface craftsmanship

Curiosity about leveraging data to inform your design process

Ability to bring clarity to complex problem spaces using whiteboards, flowcharts, wireframes, or other visual diagrams

Ability to design, effectively communicate design rationale to stakeholders, document decisions and deliver detailed specs to engineers for implementation

Strong understanding of grid systems, hierarchy, typography and color

Attention to detail, obsession with craft and openness to feedback

Experience with applying and evolving design systems

Resourcefulness, eagerness to adopt best practices, and a drive to achieve design breakthroughs.

Knowledge of user testing tools, ability to document findings, and experience collaborating with a UXR team to translate insights into actionable improvements

5+ years professional experience designing user-friendly products for web and mobile; bachelor degree in graphic design is a plus

Pay Transparency Statement 

This is a hybrid position based out of our San Francisco office, with the expectation of being in office at least two weekdays per week. #LI-hybrid 

The actual pay rate offered within the range will depend on factors including geographic location, qualifications, experience, and internal equity. In addition to the salary, you will be eligible for stock options and benefits like health insurance, 401k, and paid time off.
