As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll be a key member of Foundation Design, working with a team of talented product designers and cross-functional partners to take our web-based tools to the next level. You will be a critical lead to drive the maturity of our new design system (Product Foundation System), innovate in new patterns and shape our accessibility strategy.
You Will: Define the strategy and plan to modernize and extend web tooling system, with a focus on design system, especially accessibility. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product management, and other teams to deliver high-quality design solutions that meet business and user needs. Develop and maintain accessibility guidelines, ensuring it scales effectively across different products and tools. Promote standard methodologies for accessibility and provide education on relevant topics to designers, product managers, and engineers. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers, helping them grow their skills and influence within the team. You Have: A Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Design, or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of experience in product design with 2 years in design system, with a strong portfolio showcasing web and tooling projects. Expertise in designing for accessibility and a deep understanding of WCAG standards. Experience working with and contributing to design systems, ensuring consistency and scalability. Strong systems thinking with the ability to understand and design for complex workflows and interactions. Strong communication and collaboration skillsFor roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
