We are looking for an experienced and self-driven Senior Product Designer, reporting to the VP Product, to join our team in London. As the sole designer on our product team, you will have a unique opportunity to establish and drive the design vision, processes, and standards for our digital products.
This is a hands-on role requiring creativity, autonomy, and the ability to collaborate effectively with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional user experiences.
What will you be doing?
Lead Design Efforts: Define and execute the design strategy for our products, from initial discovery to final implementation.User-Centred Design: Conduct user research, create personas, and map user journeys to inform design decisions.End-to-End Design: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI designs, iterating based on feedback and usability testing.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and engineers to align designs with technical feasibility and business objectives.Design Systems: Establish and maintain a scalable design system to ensure consistency across products.Stakeholder Engagement: Clearly articulate design decisions and advocate for user needs while balancing business goals.Process Ownership: Proactively identify opportunities to improve design workflows and product outcomes.We tend to look for people with:
Essential:
Deep expertise in user experience (UX) and visual design principles.Strong proficiency with tools like Figma, Sketch, or equivalent.Ability to manage ambiguity, prioritize effectively, and deliver high-quality work with minimal oversight.A strong portfolio demonstrating a range of user-centred design projects, with examples of problem-solving and measurable outcomes.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present designs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Desirable:
