Senior Product Designer - Design Platform
Overview At Intuit, our mission is to Power Prosperity for consumers and small businesses around the world. The Intuit Design System (IDS) is a company-wide design system that accelerates Intuit’s mission by delivering innovative and foundational design system guidelines, tools, and services that support Intuit designers and developers across TurboTax, QuickBooks, Mailchimp, Credit Karma, and many other Intuit offerings. To help us achieve this, we are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join a new team focused on establishing an AI-assisted Design Platform. In this role, you'll be an early member of a small team focused on creating a set of tools and experiences that will speed up the work of design through the application of artificial intelligence. What you'll bring + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience + 5+ years of experience in system design, visual design, interaction design, product design, designing AI products, or related field + Mastery of design tools (especially Figma) and design system technology, with a solid understanding of design tokens, theming, and UI components through the lens of visual and motion design + Practical design systems experience that shows strong ownership of or significant contribution to an existing design system that impacts millions of customers + Examples of design and development advocacy that led to breakthrough adoption of design system tools, processes, or artifacts + Highly collaborative team spirit able to take in multiple points of view, synthesize decisions, and communicate outcomes across the organization + Artistry and excellence in simplifying complex ideas, identifying risks and dependencies, and delivering for customers within the constraints of technology + Confidence in managing through ambiguity with a track record of creative problem-solving that demonstrates flexibility How you will lead + Design AI-accelerated solutions for the Intuit Design Platform, harnessing user insights and data to define success metrics and validate solutions. + Drive visual, motion, and interaction design for new product experiences, Figma plug-ins, and other design tooling initiatives. + Create new tools, workflows, and standards that make it easier for teams to create with, and contribute to the Intuit Design System. + Collaborate with other design teams and design technologists to make prototypes and experiments. Identify opportunities, test ideas, and bring people together across the organization. + Use research and data to find ways to improve processes, results, and customer experience while balancing the long-term goals of the design platform.
