Key Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Senior Product Engineer is responsible for supporting the technical development and deployment of Siemens’ Custom Coordinated Circuit Verification products. Product Engineers handle the toughest circuit simulation challenges, working closely with our extraordinary field applications and engineering teams to improve the accuracy, performance, capacity and functionality for all types of circuit analysis.

Job responsibilities include: Crafting, debugging, and simulating analog/mixed-signal/memory circuits to push the capabilities of Siemens’ analog mixed-signal circuit simulation productsIdentifying high-value potential improvements and new functionality for all Siemens analog mixed-signal verification technologiesProviding technical product reports that focus on circuit simulation accuracy, performance and capacityWriting and reviewing specifications for product development projectsCritically assessing development projects for realistic delivery timelines and value propositionsTesting and validating new product featuresRunning beta programs for major new developments and product featuresAssisting with and/or leading customer evaluations of Siemens’ analog mixed-signal verification toolsSupport and electrical engineering support to both customers and field application engineers; working directly with customers to debug circuit design issues and identify issues in the verification/simulation toolsCrafting and reviewing high-quality technical collateral, application notes, and deployment materialsSupporting and testing the integration of circuit simulation technology in adjacent Siemens verification productsQualifications: MSc or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related fieldValidated 7-year experience in related rolesDeep knowledge of electrical engineering and analog/mixed-signal/memory circuit design conceptsAbility to debug electrical circuit and SPICE/FastSPICE simulation issuesProficiency in both Windows and Linux environmentsExperience with EDA tools, specifically FastSPICE Circuit Simulators and Analog Design Environment toolsBasic scripting in bash and/or cshellAutomation tasks with scripting languages such as PythonExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience crafting and delivering technical trainingProficiency in using bug and project tracking software (Jira and Confluence preferred)Ability to collect and analyze large amounts of dataProficiency in MS Office tools such as Excel and PowerPointWorking at Siemens Software
