Responsibilities:
Own the wing-to-wing strategy, execution and performance of the invasive cardiology product line across the product life cycle.Work with regions to identify opportunities to create a “promise to the customer” that will strengthen GEHC’s Return on invested capital.Working with marketing, engineering, and services to create long-term product roadmaps, requirements, and business plans.Develop value props for specific offerings using customer input, clinical data, and design principles; Communicate value prop to extended team and customers.Oversee NPI, monitor execution to targets, and facilitate engineering/functional trade-offs within program to fulfill business case. Has the primary responsibility of the product scope.Deliver excellent customer experience: collaborate with extended team to review customer metrics (e.g. quality) against targets and execute new improvements.Work with regions to refine go to market strategy and service model to deliver target customer promise and GE performance. Align demand forecasts with product schedules.Regularly review product group against customer value prop and targets set by strategy. Look for areas to gain competitive edge through NPIs or End of life.Establish tradeoffs between internal development and business partnership activities with strategic partners-including contract negotiations and maintenance, product changes, forecasting and financials.Evangelize for the product by presenting to customers and user groups; represent the product at trade shows and with media; sell product roadmap internally; participate in winning large deals; provide sales training and generate enthusiasm for the product.Own and report the overall business financial performance.CTO, CMO and this role will be the leaders in this space.Desired Characteristics and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Business Administration, healthcare or related fieldMBA preferred10+ years’ experience in product management, product development, or related field with similar products. Someone that has led different functions: Sales, Manufacturing, R&D along with Product Management experience.Medical Technology experience required for this level of roleExtensive PM experience -- developing programs, developing solutions, developing lifecycle of new solutions.Innovation – develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideasProven ability to influence and negotiate internally and with customersRequired Soft Skills:
