Senior Product Manager, Marketing (P5)

Summary

Save the Children, a leading global nonprofit organization is seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager specializing in Salesforce Marketing Cloud to lead transformative initiatives within our Business and Technology Solutions (BTS) division. You will play a pivotal role in driving strategic product decisions aligned with our organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in product management processes, particularly within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

What You’ll Be Doing (Essential Duties)

Lead Product Management Strategy (75%):

Spearhead the development and implementation of robust product management processes, emphasizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud optimization and transformation, and serve as a mentor to the team in these areas.  Act as a subject matter expert on Salesforce Marketing Cloud, providing guidance and best practices to team members.  Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for digital platforms, aligning closely with organizational objectives and stakeholder needs, with a particular focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud.  Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather feedback and insights for product development, ensuring alignment with business strategy and user requirements.  Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of digital products and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, iterating based on performance metrics and user feedback.  Prioritize feature enhancements based on user research and evolving business needs, engaging with stakeholders to ensure Salesforce Marketing Cloud tools effectively address current requirements.  Drive the creation of long-term UX strategies, emphasizing user-centric design principles and continuous improvement, while also considering Salesforce Marketing Cloud optimization and transformation.  Establish and communicate product roadmaps, prioritizing features to maximize user value and organizational impact.  Liaise with other product teams to understand interdependencies and align priorities across different products, ensuring seamless integration with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.  Provide regular reporting on project success, risks, and roadblocks related to Salesforce Marketing Cloud product strategy, ensuring transparency and accountability.  Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements related to Salesforce Marketing Cloud, driving continuous improvement of products and processes.

Advance the Culture of Human-Centered Design (25%): 

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and global partners to drive value and efficiency through digital solutions, promoting a culture of user-centric design and partnership.  Utilize UX methodologies to enhance organizational collaboration and alignment, focusing on optimizing user experiences across digital platforms, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud integrations.  Champion unified user experiences across projects, minimizing fragmentation and optimizing usability, with a particular emphasis on Salesforce Marketing Cloud usability.  Promote standard UX practices across Save the Children, sharing insights and inspiring momentum around user-centered design principles, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud integrations. 

Required Qualifications

Minimum of a Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience, plus at least 10 years of relevant experience. Proven track record in product management, with a focus on Salesforce Marketing Cloud technology solutions.  Extensive experience deploying various user research methodologies and creating user experience artifacts relevant to Salesforce Marketing Cloud transformations.  Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholders.  Strong analytical mindset, capable of translating data and insights into actionable product decisions.  Proficiency in product management tools, particularly Atlassian’s Jira and Confluence.  Demonstrated ability to anticipate and navigate organizational change, both internal and external.  Professional proficiency in MS Office suite Professional proficiency in spoken and written English Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with individuals and teams at all levels, both internally and externally Demonstrated commitment to fostering and maintaining and environment of diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.  Experience utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud in conjunction with e-commerce and CRM platforms like Luminate Online, Adobe Experience Manager, and Drupal.   Strong understanding of nonprofit organizations and their unique challenges, particularly related to constituent relationship management. 

Compensation

Save the Children is offering the following salary ranges for this position, dependent on candidate location:

Geo 1 - NY Metro, DC, and other locations with labor costs significantly above national average: Target Salary for this position is $131,750 – $147,250 base salary Geo 2 - Locations around the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $119,850 – $133,950 base salary Geo 3 - Locations significantly below the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $107,950 – $120,650 base salary

The salary ranges listed above are for US based candidates. For candidates located outside of the US, salary ranges will be based on the salary scales of the local employer of record. 

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location (more information on job structure is available here). Employee may be eligible for an incentive program.
