Position Summary:
We seek a highly skilled Senior Product Manager with infrastructure automation and configuration management expertise to join our dynamic team. As the Senior Product Manager, you will own the product vision of your area and drive the strategy, roadmap, and development of Puppet's cutting-edge automation solutions. You will partner with marketing, sales, sales engineers, and customers to drive Puppet's adoption in Asia–Pacific.
Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product vision, strategy, and goals for infrastructure automation and configuration management productsLead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.Conduct market research and competitor analysis and gather customer feedback to inform product decisions and prioritize featuresDefine and refine product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, focusing on technical accuracy and feasibilityWork closely with engineering teams to ensure alignment between product goals and technical implementation, guiding architecture and technology choicesDrive the adoption of best practices in infrastructure automation, configuration management, and DevOps methodologiesMonitor product performance, analyze key metrics, and iterate on features to continuously improve product value and user satisfactionStay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform product strategyRequirements:A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. An MBA or equivalent master’s degree is a plus5-8 years of experience in technical product management, with a strong focus on infrastructure automation and configuration management both in the data center and the cloudIn-depth knowledge of tools and technologies like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.Knowledge of different flavors of Linux operating systems, like RedHat Enterprise Linux, Amazon Linux, and UbuntuKnowledge of IT security scanning tools, standards, and benchmarks such as CIS Benchmarks, ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and DISA is a plusProven track record of successfully launching and managing products in the infrastructure spaceStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisionsExcellent communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsCome work with us!
