Senior Product Manager

Overview:   Senior Product Manager is responsible for managing key partner and platform integration products within the business unit product portfolio. This role requires a true healthcare foundation, with a great understanding overall of the healthcare system. The position includes managing inputs from external and internal stakeholders, product planning, managing platform dependencies, leading cross-functional teams for release and go-to-market plans and activities, and enhancing and differentiating products within our core markets to best position them within the competitive landscape. The Senior Product Manager will interface with engineering, operations, and sales to develop new products and enhance existing ones, with a proven ability to communicate needs clearly to engineering teams.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop business cases to justify investment required to build, partner, or buy. Be the trusted thought leader for your product area, being the ‘voice of the market/customer’ for VigiLanz product portfolio and externally with customer interactions and events. Build and maintain a roadmap for products and work with cross-functional teams to deliver a unified product plan to the market. Work with Marketing and Sales to define the go-to-market strategy, product positioning, and pricing strategies. Develop, drive, and coordinate complex product priorities in a fast-paced environment with intra-team and inter-team dependencies. Develop and implement a company-wide commercialization and launch plan for the products within the product line, working with all departments and the Product PMO to execute. Translate product strategy into requirements and prototypes, and then work with architects, developers, and customers to implement these features. Serve as a product evangelist with Marketing, Sales, and the go-to-market organization to confirm the vision, roadmap, and best practices are understood. Analyze and manage product metrics/KPIs that inform the success of your products in the market. Maintain compliance with Inovalon’s policies, procedures, and mission statement. Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon’s Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position. Fulfill responsibilities and duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon to achieve the operational and financial success of the Company. Job Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of Software Product Management (SaaS or cloud software) experience managing platform or integration products. Minimum of 3 years of healthcare information technology experience with a focus on partner integration products. Proven experience in taking new products to market. Proven ability to determine roadmaps and write requirements. Proven track record of creating and launching new products. Minimum of 1 year of experience in Agile development methodologies. Experience with Azure DevOps or similar software development teams. Experience with Figma or similar interface design tool . Strong track record of working with engineering teams and clearly communicating needs. Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams from product concept to reference customers. Strong executive presence. Proven strategic performance and operational execution. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint. Self-motivated with strong organizational/prioritization skills and ability to multi-task with close attention to detail. Excellent written and oral presentation skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

BA/BS Degree.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Sedentary work (i.e., sitting for long periods of time). Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions. Subject to inside environmental conditions. Travel for this position will include less than 10% locally usually for training purposes.

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.  At Inovalon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

Base Compensation Range$115,200—$160,000 USD
