Our team is looking for an experienced **Senior Product Manager** to join the Microsoft Start growth team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of Microsoft Start by focusing on features that drive growth for business. As a Senior Product Manager, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product strategies, prioritize features, and drive execution to deliver world-class consumer AI experiences for everyone. Collaborating across Product team, Design and AI Research teams, this role requires a balance of technical skills and effective people skills. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond. **Responsibilities** + Identify unmet customer needs and market opportunities for feature development through quantitative and qualitative analyses. + Develop problem statements and forms hypotheses to address customer needs. Build product experience by scoping the impact and prioritization of problems with minimal guidance. Perform experiments to test hypotheses and drive decisions on new features. + Validate market size and opportunity to determine the most valuable features, and then define final solution options for a group of features. + Drive clarity over root problems and analyze customer interactions to gather feedback. + Be knowledgeable on market/user research, competitive analyses, and understand industry trends and regulations. Work with minimal guidance to align customer, market, and feature goals with Microsoft’s strategy & influence the long-term vision. + Evangelize group work with stakeholders and share knowledge by clearly articulating results and ideas to customers, managers, and key decision makers.  + Partner with Design, UX research, software engineers, applied scientists, and colleagues to refine solutions tied to OKRs and KPIs. **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree AND 5+years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development + OR equivalent experience. + Experience delivering end-to-end product solutions, including competitive research, requirements definition, user experience design, and growth execution. + Experience shipping product/features that drove growth for consumer products. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Bachelor's Degree AND 7+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development + OR equivalent experience. + 7+ years of experience shipping consumer-facing products. You’ve shipped product/features to the market, collected user feedback, defined successful metrics and iteratively improved products. + Technical depth in software development. While you are not expected to write code on the critical path, you’re able to build reason over large amounts of data and speak the language of the engineers you work with. + Excellent leadership, communication, and product management skills. Strong executive presentation and be able to represent the team in leadership reviews + Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. + Being able to influence, motivate the feature team, and collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.  Product Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
