As a Senior Product Manager n the Compute and Networking Business Unit (CNBU), you will be charged with defining and executing the strategy for an industry-leading product portfolio. You will build and lead a cross-functional team of key representatives from multiple organizations to develop the portfolio strategy, optimize the business case of each product, drive products through each stage of Micron’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process, and internally guide the development of new products. The assigned portfolio will represent a significant portion of Micron’s revenue and include cutting-edge technologies that are critical for enabling future solutions for the cloud, enterprise, networking, and personal computer market segments – which include for AI server, AI PC, general purpose server, and other computing applications. Successful candidates for this role are ambitious and influential leaders who possess an entrepreneurial spirit and the creativity to resolve a wide array of complex challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and establish the multi-year product strategy and roadmap, in partnership with your cross-functional core team
• Drive the product strategy across functional organizations to achieve our business objectives
• Create and optimize the business case for each product in the portfolio
• Internally demonstrate and articulate the value proposition across key workloads and use cases
• Oversee each stage of the product life cycle and ensure the timely preparation and internal presentation of all stage gates and key product decisions
• Establish a deep understanding of the ‘problems to solve’ for our key stakeholders, memory technology trends, system architecture trends and competing solutions
• Foster a comprehensive understanding of key competitor strategies, solutions, and capabilities
• Act as the internal spokesperson to represent product strategies and requirements to all relevant stakeholders
• Understand, track, and refine internal plans related to the portfolio - including personnel resource, manufacturing, and development activities
• Create and administer business processes to optimize product management functions

The role also does not carry the authority to make definitive decisions regarding contracts, be it their conclusion or termination. Furthermore, the role is not designed to involve participation in pricing negotiations or the authorization of contracts. These activities fall beyond the permissible duties of the position.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of product management or product development with significant experience in both technical and business roles in the semiconductor industry
• Working knowledge of best practices in silicon product development – related to specification, architecture definition, design implementation, validation/verification, and system integration
• Significant domain knowledge in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
o Datacenter and enterprise workloads and benchmarks
o Memory device design
o CPU, ASIC, or memory controller design
• Excellent presentation and communication skills, with experience in driving executive escalations, product justifications, cross-functional development teams and/or customer engagements
• Proven track record of strategy development
• Demonstrated business acumen
• Ability to travel both domestically and internationally
Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field
• MBA or Master’s Degree in engineering management is preferred
