In this role, you will work alongside a team of friendly, passionate, and creative Global Payroll product managers and developers to bring our payroll product to market. We use innovative technologies to develop the next generation of features for payroll.  The product manager will lead the product management activities for the Operational tools that will deliver an effective client onboarding and service process and experience. The primary responsibilities will include understanding customer needs, defining a product roadmap, identifying what capabilities and features to build, and working with various stakeholders and partners on prioritization and roadmap discussions.    

 We're looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in product management, and 3+ years of product owner experience working closely with end users and translating customer requirements into product features. Result-oriented, data-driven decision-making and analytical thinking are must-haves in this role. Having payroll experience/domain knowledge is a plus.  If you are detail-oriented, have worked with Agile teams, have a good understanding of product life cycle, and are an excellent communicator, this role is for you.  Bring new ideas, collaborate, be a problem solver!  As part of our team, your voice will influence product success and help shape our industry.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Here's what you can expect on a typical day:

Scrums. You will participate in all scrum ceremonies. You'll start each day working with teams to understand responsibilities, identify any issues, and communicate priorities. You'll continue to have meetings throughout the day as you create and organize your roadmap. Research & Requirements. You'll identify and prioritize which capabilities and features to build based on our clients and ADP’s goals. You'll collect requirements and document them and prioritize product features. You're always learning and researching new industry trends to make our products better. Once the features are development, you will confirm that it meets the needs of our clients and will work with the development team to release the product features to our users. Relationships. You'll create strong alliances with diverse stakeholders and ensure everyone is in this together and communicates most appropriately. You'll collaborate across multiple teams with developers, other product managers, and UX teams, to name some, to continually drive innovation and make the product the best it can be. Measurements. You have experience measuring product effectiveness, reporting outcomes, and driving priorities. Variety of work. There is no typical day. You could be working with UX teams on client experience journeys to delivering new features, product enhancements, or creating new services. Best part? You'll get to see those ideas come to life. Presentation. You'll speak to internal and external stakeholders to communicate and defend ideas while answering critical questions. Experience. You have 5-8 years of experience in relevant skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

You'll have a Bachelor's degree OR equivalent. Having Payroll knowledge is a plus
