Job DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY:
The Senior Product Manager will develop and execute the marketing strategy for lubricants, degreasers and Specialty MRO chemicals. This position is responsible for creating marketing strategies through a deep understanding of the customer needs, product portfolio, and technology capabilities in conjunction with key stakeholders (R&D, Operations, Sales and Finance). This position is based out of our Tucker, GA facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Define product strategy and roadmap for North American Lubricants, Degreasers, and Cleaners chemical categories through Voice of the Customer (VOC) journey development.Champion the VOC in all product and marketing decisions and ensure data is an integral part of the decision-making process.Lead all stage gate projects and initiatives for defined product categories and manage stage gate project plans.Develop and maintain competitive product analysis to understand advantages and gaps and drive appropriate actions.Captures and communicates market and end-user insights to the organization to better inform strategic planning, marketing execution, and go-to-market plans.Create customer value propositions and provide insights and content that can be leveraged by the sales organization to drive growth.Collaborate across a high-performance cross-functional team of sales professionals, engineers, communication stewards, and operational leads through all product lifecycle stages to ensure strong competitive differentiation and speed to market.Leverage a General Manager mindset to drive incremental P&L improvement over time with a focus on pricing execution and evolution of the pricing strategy.Direct the Marketing Communications team to create and maintain marketing plans, advertising and sales tools including brochures, product descriptions, technical data sheets, web content, etc. Support customer meetings, customer trainings, trade shows (attendance and speaking, as needed), industry engagement and other activities to evangelize multipliers and elevate our brand perception.QualificationsEDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
BS in Business Management, Marketing or Chemistry. MBA preferred8-10 years of experience in Product Management or Technical Sales 4-6 years of experience in core Marketing activities including New Product Development, Integrated Marketing Planning, Brand Strategy and Positioning, P&L Management, End-User & Market Insights, and Pricing Strategy.Highly motivated individual with a results-driven orientation, capable of multi-tasking within a dynamic organizationProven track record of working independently and with sales/marketing teams and multiple levels of managementMust be a team player and work well with othersAbility to travel up to 35%Additional InformationITW Pro Brands is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
