About the role:
Lead the commercial strategy for Boston Scientific’s peripheral IVUS (Intravascular Ultrasound) business in the high-growth vascular space.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading product commercialization activities across multiple cross-functional and cross-divisional stakeholders globally including sales, sales training, medical education, operations, capital service and supply chain Possessing an in-depth knowledge of the peripheral vascular disease state and becoming a subject matter expert on BSC IVUS and the competition Developing highly impactful sales and physician education programs in-conjunction with key partners, including medical education and sales training Establishing relationships with key physician opinion leaders globally Developing product positioning & messaging, and related marketing collateral by utilizing key market research and strong customer insights while working closely with key partners such as sales, upstream marketing, marketing strategy, medical education and R&D Collaborating with upstream marketing, R&D, clinical and global partners to prepare for future product launches and provide input on future product development initiatives Representing peripheral IVUS at tradeshows and key customer & sales training events, and by visiting accounts to solicit feedback and support the commercial team
Required qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Engineering, Science, Healthcare/Biomedical, or related field Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. Must be an exceptional collaborator and self-starter 5+ years of experience in medical device marketing or commensurate experience in areas such as Medical Device Sales, Medical Affairs/Education, or other commensurate areas of business Experience planning and managing product launches Experience building relationships with key customers and cross-functional partners Demonstrated success working as an integral cross-functional team member Demonstrated success supporting and/or managing complex projects Ability to collaborate and work with others in a dynamic environment Travel up to 25%Preferred qualifications:
Advanced degree (Masters, MBA) preferred
