Are you interested in defining and building a new product from scratch? Hershey is looking for a technical Senior Product Manager to create a new analytics 0-to-1 product to help forecast revenue from weeks to years in the future, and to bridge predictions vs. actuals looking backwards. Given the nature of the product, this is a high visibility role, all the way up to the CEO of the company. It will require working closely with data scientists, software engineers, and leaders from across all functions of the business. We have the rough blueprint for the product defined but are looking for someone excited to take that blueprint and build a clear vision & roadmap and drive the multi-year execution needed to get this right. If done well, this product will be a core synchronization mechanism for many of the company’s functions, providing the rigor needed to hold us all collectively accountable to driving the right topline outcomes for the company! Responsibilities:
Develops and communicates product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with overall business and technical goals
Continuously collects and analyzes data to identify opportunities for product improvement and market optimization
Gathers and manages product feedback through surveys, concept testing, analytics tools, and A/B testing
Collaborates with the product team to ensure a clear understanding of requirements and ensure compliance with product quality and safety standards
Adheres to the budget within the product team and allocate resources effectively
Provides input throughout all stages of a product’s lifecycle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product
Enforces agile methodologies throughout projects, actively participates in sprint planning, manages the backlog, and makes key prioritization decisions
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management
Experience building technology and analytics products
Strong project management and problem-solving abilities
Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making
Ability to write clear user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria and technical documentation
Adept ability to align product strategy with long-term business goals
Business fundamentals including financial management, metrics reporting, business process management, customer centricity, business analysis and problem solving
MBA or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, analytics, mathematics, or a related field
