Overview:  
HealthEdge is seeking a senior product manager with deep expertise in healthcare claims processing and Web UI applications to help enhance our HealthRules Payer platform. As a Senior Product Manager in the claims value stream, you will ensure our solutions meet business needs and technical feasibility. Working directly with customers, agile engineering teams, and other internal functions, you will help specify business requirements and act as an expert product owner in the development and delivery of this solution. We’re looking for a passionate, clear-thinking product manager, who understands the market, defines the product roadmap, identifies customer needs, and prioritizes features that align with the business goals.

Your Impact: 

Define and maintain the product backlog, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. Provide product ownership oversight and direction to engineering teams to ensure delivery of features in a timely manner. Communicate with key stakeholders, including Customers, Professional Services, and Cloud Operations to clarify requirements. Understand the business objectives and rationales behind high level product features; analyze and translate them into Story Maps that can drive the agile development process  Lead engineering grooming sessions for selected stories, capturing more detailed task breakdowns and estimates. Conduct detailed analysis to document functional and non-functional requirements. Work with engineering and support teams to analyze defects, investigate root causes, and recommend fixes. Create detailed system specifications, process flows, and user guides to support product development and implementation Work within an assigned engineering scrum team to develop, test, document, accept, and release specific product features. Communicate back to the product management team about issues, challenges, and risks related to the engineering process on assigned product features  Demonstrate completed product features to both internal and external key stakeholders  Partner with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to ensure a smooth rollout of new features. Lead periodic customer onsite visits  Lead internal training and knowledge transfer for key product features  Perform all job functions consistent with HealthEdge policies and procedures, including those which govern handling PHI and PII  

 

What You Bring:
 

8+ years’ experience as a product manager in a SaaS-based, Agile/Scrum technology company including all related processes (e.g. story mapping, requirements writing, prioritized backlogs, product ownership within a scrum team)  Must have 5+ years of experience in the healthcare industry Must have a solid understanding of healthcare claims processes Must have experience working with web-based applications, UI/UX principles, and front-end workflows. Experience conducting system analysis in a technology company. Ability to lead teams and customers through ambiguity  Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills Be a team player  Good understanding of JIRA or a similar tool Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or healthcare SAFe or Scrum certification (CSPO, SAFe POPM, CBAP) is a plus
