Job Description

We are looking for a customer-obsessed Senior Product Manager to help drive Visa Rapid Onboarding.  The ideal candidate must have a strong product background and ability to deliver. They should excel in both strategic thinking as well as tactical execution, as responsibilities will range from creating business plans to driving product development and delivery. This role will interact with and influence multiple teams across Visa’s global organization including Engineering, Sales, Finance, Legal, Design, Quality, Consumer Insights, and Operations.

This role will report into the Global Senior Director of Product, and will be based in Austin, TX with significant exposure to key stakeholders and leadership across Visa Inc.  This position is an individual contributor role and may require occasional travel to vendor or client sites, and Visa locations around the globe.

Essential Functions

Act as a product evangelist to create buy-in and build awareness and understanding of Visa Rapid Onboarding both internally and with key external partners.Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including market research, competitor analysis, strategy, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch.Work with regional and country-level teams to define localised product strategies to scale the product with clients, including merchants, acquiring partners, technical partners, marketplace providers, and payment facilitators.Coordinate product launch activities across international and cross-functional teams.Translate product strategy into detailed business requirements and specifications for user experience design, and scoping and development by engineering teams. Groom, prioritize, and execute product backlog in a fast-paced agile environment.Monitor and report on the progress of all activity within the product area including significant milestones and any conditions which would affect project cost or schedule.Lead cross functional effort to build appropriate support processes, training, and materials for all channels.Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to provide actionable insights and iterate product capabilities.Participate in user experience iterations and help conduct user research to test product enhancements.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
• 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
• 5+ years in product management is required.
• Exceptional written and oral communication abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects - work prioritization, planning and task delegation
• Proven record of accomplishment and success in fast-paced, cross-functional agile scrum environments with demanding timelines
• Experience and comfort with contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Willingness to work with globally distributed engineering, customer, and product management teams spanning multiple global time zones
• 8+ years in product management
• 5+ years as a product manager and/or product owner in a scrum agile environment
• Strong analytical skills, and experience using qualitative and quantitative data to develop product strategies
• SaaS experience, preferably in the financial industry
• Experience with KYC / KYB and due diligence software
• Experience working in large multi-national highly-matrixed corporate environments
• Prior technical experience in software development, or as a technical product manager

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 143,200.00 to 207,800.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
