Senior Product Manager - based out of Austin, DFW or Pittsburgh

The Senior Product Manager role will report to the Senior Manager of Central Pharmacy.  The role will be responsible for ideation and execution for a product area of the overall Omnicell automation platform.

This role will be responsible for our existing Central Pharmacy Manager software platform, defining and executing on features and functionality enhancements to meet customer needs in its core segment, and for identifying, defining, and delivering on enhancements that expand the Central Pharmacy Manager software to adjacent marketspaces.  This role will also be pivotal in defining and executing the broader Central Pharmacy software strategy. 

Responsibilities:

As a key member of the Central Pharmacy Product Line team, you will develop and refine prioritized product needs based on insights from market research, competitive analysis, customer engagement, business needs and collaboration with subject matter experts Work closely with other product managers to prioritize the highest impact opportunities for improvement

Work cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, sales, support, implementation, and other stakeholders to create and deliver a shared vision of success.

Collaborate with your product peers to prioritize problems to solve, make trade-off decisions, and ultimately translate your customer needs into your priorities.  Own the successful delivery of your roadmap and co-own the success of the overall central pharmacy products Effectively identify and manage cross-team dependencies Develop communications material, value props and high-level strategic justification to help explain the why of your product both internally and externally Develop relationships with customers and prospects, gather and understand customer feedback on existing products and products in development and conduct effective interviews to better understand the context, pressures, complete understanding of the problems they need to solve to deliver the right solution Communicate the vision of the product, value proposition and release goals to the cross-functional team as part of the release planning process

Required Knowledge and Skills:

Understanding of hardware and software product management and development methodologies Fluency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Lucid Charts Understands the industry, market, and product/service trends affecting the organization's competitiveness Works cooperatively with others to produce innovative solutions communicating effectively across different organization levels Finds ways to measure and track customer satisfaction effectively throughout the product development

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree 5+ years of product management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience building healthcare products Experience implementing healthcare products in hospital settings

Work Conditions:

This position will work out of an office in either Austin, DFW or Pittsburgh  This position requires up to 25% US based travel
