As a Sr. Product Manager, you will help to create and launch products designed to secure AI applications within enterprises. Our AI Security solutions focus on safeguarding AI and Machine Learning models, algorithms, and the underlying data.

This is a highly visible, hands-on PM role, central to one of our key innovation areas, and aimed at securing our customers' most advanced technologies. You will collaborate with executives, engineering, sales, marketing, fellow product managers, and, most importantly, customers.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for:

Defining and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our AI Security productEstablishing priorities for what features we should build, when we should build them, and whyWorking closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver AI/ML-powered solutions that meet customer needsDeveloping and maintaining a deep understanding of customer needs and pain pointsCollaborating with engineering, research, and data science teams to ensure successful implementation of AI/ML solutionsManaging the release of AI Security products, including capabilities, features, workflows, and pricing and packaging

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

Have 12 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Data Science/Computer Science/ a related field or its equivalentDemonstrate a proven track record of delivering successful cybersecurity products in the enterprise marketHave extensive knowledge in cybersecurity product management as well as AI/ML technologiesUnderstand how to leverage AI technologies such as LLMs/vector databases/embedding algorithms to solve complex problemsHave insight into the challenges/opportunities of securing AI technologies, including threat vectors, misconfigurations, vulnerabilities, and attack trendsHave the ability to define and prioritize detection requirements for AI Security productsHave experience being customer-focused, with the ability to create a shared vision with customers

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $108,900 - $226,100/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
