Amazon Japan is looking for a Senior Product Manager – Tech (PMT), to lead the development and launch of new supply chain software solutions for business (vendor) customers. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team, as we create this new service for Japan, with potential to scale WW.
As the lead PMT for this work, you will lead the concept and product development end to end, partner with the engineering and science team on technical roadmaps, own the roadmap and lead major launches over the next 3 years. This is a key strategic priority for Amazon Japan, and an amazing opportunity to join an inclusive, flexible and diverse team of leaders.

- Own and develop the product roadmap
- Own technical documentation and other artifacts
- Partner with the engineering and science team
- Contribute to annual and 3Y planning
- Own key reporting cycles to leadership
- Opportunities to lead learning and sharing sessions, and other people and culture projects
This role is an individual contributor role (no direct reports), and you will be supported by a dedicated software engineer and applied scientist, as well as product and program managers, and a business intelligence engineer within our team.
Key goals for 2025
- Define a target MLP (Most Lovable Product) and working backwards launch plan
- Set goals between product and engineering, and influence key partner teams to align resourcing and priorities
- Lead pilot launches
- Create a 3Y roadmap
