As a Product Manager – Technical (PM-T), you’ll work at the intersection of product, engineering, and architecture, ensuring our teams build the right things, the right way. You’ll translate business needs into actionable technical requirements, optimise workflows, and drive delivery in an Agile environment.


Role
---
Turn Vision into Execution
- Partner with Product Managers to translate business needs into clear, actionable technical deliverables, ensuring alignment, clarification, and modifications of requirements are handled promptly.
- Convert epics into features and user stories with clear acceptance criteria, ensuring no ambiguities.
- Work closely with engineers to ensure backlog items are well-defined, actionable, and that adequate work is flowing to the team.

Drive Agile Delivery & Prioritisation
- Own backlog management—prioritise work based on business value, feasibility, and dependencies.
- Lead Sprint and PI Planning, structuring work to maximise impact, avoid blockers, and set clear expectations across Product and Technology.
- Support Project Managers in identifying and defining dependencies, ensuring smooth cross-team collaboration.
- Align with Product Managers, Architects, and Engineering teams on roadmaps, technical enablers, and delivery timelines.

Support Engineering & Technical Execution
- Act as a technical consultant, ensuring smooth execution of new features while balancing non-functional requirements.
- Support engineering teams by clarifying requirements, removing roadblocks, and driving decision-making.
- Work with the Technical Architect to produce clear documentation and technical specifications.
- Handle non-development technical activities, such as system configurations, internal service onboarding, and stakeholder presentations.
- Drive enabler processes and collaborate with enabler teams to ensure platform scalability and operational resilience.

Champion Continuous Improvement
- Lead Sprint Demos and Product Value Reviews, ensuring stakeholder alignment and product transparency.
- Refine and optimise team workflows for greater efficiency.
- Stay up to date on best practices in Agile, SAFe, and technical product management.

All About You
---
Technical & Product Skills
- Strong technical understanding of API-based systems, cloud infrastructure, and software development processes.
- Strong grasp of UI/UX principles, accessibility (A11y), and visual design, ensuring a high-quality user experience.
- Experience with JIRA, Confluence, backlog management, and writing Epics, Features, and User Stories.
- Understanding of non-functional requirements, including scalability, security, and performance considerations.

Problem-Solving & Collaboration
- Ability to align Product and Engineering expectations, ensuring technical feasibility and business value.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills—you anticipate issues before they arise and proactively find solutions.
- Excellent communication skills—you translate complex technical details into clear, simple business terms.
