Senior Product Manager - Telematics

The ideal applicant would be customer obsessed, results oriented and highly technical to drive the Telematics experience in both Auto and Commercial Products. We are looking for a committed, experienced, and energetic individual to join our growing product team. This is a collaborative role working across various stakeholders and accountable for improving and building the best-in-class Telematics experience.

In this position you will be working across stakeholders within technology, business, product management and design to help build and execute. A strong understanding of front-end experience, capabilities, and downstream services that support everyday sales needs across all channels and insurance product offerings. Demonstrate the ability to roll up your sleeves and dig deep while influencing organizational change through proper scoping, process improvements and positive team culture.

Ability to work cross-functional such as business, product, design and engineering, lead across multiple sprint teams and understand how to work in a matrixed org with dependencies and competing goalsSynthesize information across customer, business, market, and platform data to identify opportunities, size them, and turn insights into requirementsOwning and prioritizing the long-term (6+ months) product roadmap to deliver business outcomes, working closely with a cross-functional teamHands on with writing, epics, feature, and user story details to help drive solution and execution aligned to business outcomes and customer first experiencesLeveraging modern architecture and stately design to identify problem-solution fitEvaluating trade-offs and negotiating requirementsCreating and using compelling, informative artifacts to influence stakeholders (ex. Vision, Roadmaps, Features/Epics, Progress Updates, etc.)Understanding of current and future state architectureIdentifying and measuring KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), with an eye to adjusting and refining your roadmap as the data dictatesCoaching and mentoring other Product ManagersStrong organizational and analytical skills with ability to conduct analysis and drive data driven decisionsDemonstrating a strong bias for action, partnership, and influence ability. This includes driving prioritization and feature requirement to capabilities teams as well as driving trade-off discussions and decision-making with technical experts and business stakeholdersKnowledge in Underwriting, Rating, and Insurance Product Offerings (i.e., Modeling, Telematics, Product Definition) is a plusOversee product rollout plan, segmentation, product adoption and opportunities for product promotionLeverages agile metrics to understand product management's contribution to Agile teams and identify potential opportunities for improvement

Basic Qualifications:

5+ years in Agile product management5+ years managing all aspects of a product feature throughout its lifecycle from concept to delivery or launch to market5+ years leading cross-functional teams that drive results during product discovery and product delivery

Preferred Qualifications:

High sense of accountability and strong problem-solving skillsExperience using quantitative and qualitative data to inform design decisions and drive changeDeliver value in an iterative way focusing on the minimum viable product and regularly report on product performance, highlighting wins and opportunitiesKnowledge of multiple functional areas such as Product Management, Engineering, UX/UI, Sales, Customer Support, Finance, MarketingAbility to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authorityExcellent written and verbal communication skills

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as software engineering or computer science


 

Annual Salary

$143,000.00 - $224,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
