Senior Product Marketing Manager

We are hiring a Senior Product Marketing Manager for our ONESOURCE Indirect Tax solution portfolio. The Senior Product Marketing Manager will drive execution and management of product marketing and product launch activities in our Corporates division. You will manage and own a wide range of essential product marketing activities necessary to capture and increase product awareness and usage, enable sales channels, launch products, drive retention, identify new packaging or new go-to-market opportunities, and advocate for the voice of our customer to drive a better customer experience (product, commercial, and support).

About the Role

In this opportunity as Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will: 

Own and lead the development and execution of cross-functional go-to-market launch plans, including tracking the status of deliverables against plan and report to key stakeholders on program status and activities.Deliver and lead development of high-impact product marketing activities to generate product awareness, customer usage and retention, market leadership, and enable new sales and up-selling/cross-selling for Indirect Tax solutions.Work closely with internal and external teams including advisory and technology partners, our partner and alliances teams, channel enablement, product management, sales, campaign planning, and our content center of excellence to develop and execute product marketing programs and initiatives.Define and develop compelling value propositions and messaging for the Indirect Tax market based on market research, the voice of the customer, solution offering, and by interpreting and translating customer needs.Ensure messaging consistency when communicating solution-specific value propositions to the market and internal/external teams and develop materials/tools that support the channels/segments in meeting their pipeline, sales and revenue goals.Develop high-impact and quality marketing materials such as sell sheets, web pages, videos, battlecards, pitch decks, and case studies for Indirect Tax solutions.Work with industry analysts to improve market perception, drive collaboration, and ensure the best representation of our company and capabilities.Present as a thought leader and educator at events, conferences, and webinars to internal and external audiences.Identify new opportunities for business growth (e.g. combined proposition with other tax solutions, expansion in new territories, partnerships, etc.), lead market analysis, business case and ‘go to market’ programs.Conduct win/loss and customer interviews.  Distill key insights and trends from interviews and deliver to the broader organization.Lead or support Customer Advisory Board(s) for Indirect Tax solutions, sharing feedback and insights to improve the overall customer experience.Actively participate in key customer meetings, sales engagements, and negotiations.Coordinate with other Thomson Reuters divisions and teams on select ad-hoc projects.

About You 

You’re a fit for the role of Senior Product Marketing Manager, if your background includes: 

Prior experience messaging complex solutions in simple and impactful ways.7-10+ years of B2B product marketing experience.Bachelors (or equivalent) required with a concentration in Product Marketing/Marketing, or business, or tax preferred.Experience building go-to-market strategies across segments, regions, and with partners.Demonstrated ability to lead and influence actions toward set goals in highly matrixed organization and in cross-functional settings.Creative thinker with tactical know-how and ability to prioritize and lead large scale projects in a matrixed environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Data driven decision-maker.Track record of impactful and engagement-generating product marketing programs and campaigns A desire to be part of a highly collaborative, fun, and focused team.You continuously look for learning opportunities.Experience with and in the Indirect Tax market is a plus.Experience working with industry analysts a plus.
