We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Product Owner to support Microsoft Copilot. This position plays a crucial role in driving the innovation and integration of Microsoft Copilot into MPC’s digital landscape. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in product ownership, cloud technologies, and Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning frameworks, with a particular focus on leveraging Microsoft Copilot to enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
The Product Owner will work closely with cross-functional teams including cyber security, legal, IT and business leadership, and business representatives, to ensure the seamless integration and performance of Copilot-driven solutions. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include prioritizing the product roadmap, planning releases, and aligning them with business objectives. The Product Owner will also conduct customer research, product discovery, and data-driven evaluations to develop a cohesive product strategy that addresses business needs and customer challenges.

Key ResponsibilitiesBuilds customer and internal facing products with superior user experience across multiple verticals, accountable for an established or moderate complexity product.Ensures alignment between teams to build and prioritize product roadmaps, plan releases, and align them with business objectives.Collaborates with Agile teams, stakeholders, and business representatives to address and resolve issues that arise during product development.Collaborate with business representatives to understand their needs and strategies, and translate them into technical requirementsWorks collaboratively with cross-functional teams, such as Research and Development, User Experience (UX), and business and operations teams, to align on product strategies, gather insights, and plan releases.Identifies product-related issues, makes decisions and continuously does trade-off analysis to ensure development stays on track toward deliverable commitments.Prioritizes the short-term feature backlog and releases, as well as the long-term product roadmap for products.Conducts customer research, product discovery and synthesizes market factors into a cohesive product strategy.Collects quantitative data and takes a data-driven approach to evaluate the viability of product initiatives by analyzing data on Copilot utilization to identify trends, measure adoption rates, and evaluate the effectiveness of awareness campaigns. Utilizes data-driven insights to form strategic decisions, optimize user engagement, and improve product performance.Writes epics and stories to support completion of initiatives; ensures stories clearly communicate the customer and stakeholder needs to meet key business objectives and strategies for the product; promotes Agile approaches to product development across teams/areas.Works closely with external vendors, including key partners such as Microsoft, to drive additional value and innovation through the product. Ensures effective vendor relationship management by aligning vendor capabilities with product needs and business objectives. Evaluates and recommends potential new vendors that can contribute to the enhancement and expansion of the product's features and functionalities.Drive awareness and adoption campaigns for Copilot Technologies. Build up business unit Copilot champions to continue to grow adoption and engagement across MPC. Provide training, support and best practices to Copilot Champions and power users. Lead engagement activities including monthly office hours. Attend events to champion Copilot across MPC locations. Effectively communicate how the Copilot can be leveraged to improve efficiencies. Education and ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, related field or equivalent experience preferred 5+ years of relevant experience required.Copilot Implementation Experience required.Product Owner certification preferred.SkillsAgile Methodology- an iterative approach to delivering a project throughout its life cycle, taking incremental steps towards the completion of a project.Authentic Communicator- Expresses ideas and information, both verbally and in writing, clearly and credibly.
