Senior Product Owner, Delivery and Operations
The Global Development Solutions (GDS) Delivery & Operations Senior Product Owner is responsible for the end-to-end implementation, support & continuous improvement of technology Products within the Medical Affairs space. This role will work closely with Delivery & Operations team members to deliver on technology product implementations and improvements using an Agile methodology. The resource will also work with their business counterparts, Business Process Owners, Subject Matter Experts, Training, Process and Procedures and Corporate Enterprise IT. **In this Senior Product Owner role, a typical day might include the following:** + Responsible for ensuring day-to-day product support meets business expectations and compliance requirements including triaging issues, managing tickets and being the key contact for the Medical Affair business. + Facilitate technical changes related to system improvements including user testing activities. + Partnering with GDS Product Leads and Business Solution Partner for new product evaluations, implementations and enhancements. + Agile development, tracking and backlog management in Jira. + Defining product vision, roadmap and enhancement opportunities. + Capture business & functional requirements in support of product enhancements. + Participate in steering committee meetings, working groups, system change requests, issue management, and release management for upgrades to existing product. **This** **job might be for you if:** + You have experience managing Medical Affairs technology implementation, operations, and data + You thrive in operating within a product-centric framework, utilizing agile methodology, scrum practices, and backlog management. + You have excellent communication skills and attention to detail. + You are able to influence operational processes in favor of a positive and value add customer experience. + You can effectively manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency, and effectively manage ambiguity and changing priorities. To be considered for the Senior Product Owner – Delivery & Operations (Medical) you must have a BS/BA Degree and/or 8+ years relevant experience. Experience supporting systems and technology solutions for the Medical Affairs domain. Experience in operational activities such as system tracking and documentation, user reconciliations, system integrations and audit support. Experience in Agile development, tracking and backlog management. Experience documenting system processes and user requirements. Established track record of delivery and maintenance of products/projects in a demanding, fast paced, and ambiguous environment. Knowledge of GD business processes, systems, and key trends in the industry. Knowledge of pharmaceutical GD business capabilities, processes, systems, and key trends in the industry. Strong record of accomplishment of technology project management, stakeholder management, budget management and collaboration skills.
