Position Overview:
Boeing Defense & Space (BDS) is seeking a motivated & experienced Product Liaison Engineer to support production programs located in Heath, Ohio. The selected candidate will be responsible for applying broad engineering principals and knowledge to electronic control and mechanical products of Boeing design.
Position Responsibilities:
Assesses and resolves product/process issues through the product lifecycle to include all cycles of testing.
Leads research of technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by customer and designs interim and final engineering solutions.
Leads others to analyze, conduct root cause analysis and develop dispositions for design non-conformances.
Develops and implements product/process improvements.
Uses innovative approaches and unique applications to address complex nonconforming conditions and to detect deviations.
Analyzes reported problems for potential safety issues; recommends and manages complex resolution.
Leads develop of interim and final solutions and product dispositions.Provides design phase subject matter expertise by supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and participating in design reviews.
Represents the engineering community in the build through post production environment.Ensures supplier and build partner compliance with Boeing standards and product designs.
Develops customer correspondence for continued safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
Leads activities for on-site product production and support teams.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills & Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Testing and troubleshooting of electronic components
Experience with Engineering Drawing/Definition review
Engineering Specification review and application (MIL Standards) experience
Mechanical assembly of electronic components experience
Electronic Test equipment experience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills & Experience):
Boeing Business systems (MESCI/GOLD/PSDS) Experience Preferred
Electronic Radar systems experience preferred
Testing and troubleshooting of Military AvionX components preferred

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $112,200 – $151,800
