**Your job** The Business Technology & Trust Analytics Science team’s mission is to provide analytics services to drive Indeed’s business priorities. We are a team of data scientists, product scientists, and data engineers with years of experience helping Indeed’s business leaders use statistical and Machine Learning (ML) model outputs to make data-driven recommendations. We leverage internal data and advanced ML techniques to innovate and push the boundaries of Artificial Intelligence (AI) at Indeed. On a daily basis, you will explore data, formulate problem statements, deploy and monitor models, and communicate progress and insights with business partners. **Who you are** + Become adept in our core data sets and systems + Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Finance, Product, Engineers, and other Data Scientists, to ensure cohesive strategy and execution + Research and experiment with proof of concept ML model improvements, scale them to production, and run iterative A/B experiments to improve our forecasting models and methods + Autonomously decompose larger business initiatives into pieces that leverage the right technologies and ML platforms to deliver incremental business value + Extract and communicate actionable insights from our models to influence business growth and strategic decision-making + Partner closely with senior leaders across Indeed as they look to measure and improve how our products and processes help people get jobs + Share your thoughts, guidance, and enthusiasm for problem-solving with your team of experienced scientists and engineers **Who we are** + Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related fields + 3+ years of industry experience as a Data Scientist, Machine Learning Engineer, Economist, Quantitative Model Developer, or Software Engineer. Preferably with exposure to financial and forecasting models + Knowledge and direct experience with statistical modeling and time series analysis + Programming experience in Python (preferred) or R + Proficiency using SQL in large-scale relational databases (i.e. Snowflake, Trino, AWS Athena, etc.) + Prior success in deploying impactful Machine Learning solutions to large-scale production systems.
