This is a remote role, but ideal candidates will be able to provide onsite leadership at a Belcan office to effectively guide and support a larger team. In this role, you will serve as a technical leader, providing expertise in Maintenance Steering Group 3 (MSG-3) contractual requirements and overseeing critical projects related to airframe inspection criteria and inspection documentation development. This position requires extensive experience with aerospace maintenance, technical documentation, and engineering design analysis to influence product definition and maintenance strategies. Key Responsibilities: * Lead and guide a team of Maintenance Engineers in executing MSG-3 analysis for Structures, Systems, and Zonal Analysis. * Analyze complex engineering designs and modifications to determine maintenance and repair requirements, procedures, and instructions. * Influence product definition, design, and configuration to improve maintainability and operational efficiency. * Evaluate engineering changes based on customer requirements, propose program modifications, and oversee implementation. * Perform data analysis to support flight operations and maintenance equipment requirements. * Define, evaluate, and maintain engineering supportability, maintainability, and operability requirements for aerospace products and systems. * Lead or participate in virtual working group meetings with cross-functional teams. * Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers and team members. Required Qualifications: * Bachelor"s degree in a related technical field (Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering/Technology) or higher preferred. * 5 to 7 years" experience with MSG-3 contractual requirements or equivalent airframe maintenance expertise. * 5 to 7 years" experience in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and complex technical documentation. * 5 to 7 years" experience working with technical manuals such as: o Commercial Maintenance Manuals o Military Technical Orders o Illustrated Parts Catalogs (IPC) o Aircraft Maintenance Manuals * Due to the nature of the work US Citizenship is required. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience working with both commercial and military aircraft, focusing on systems and modifications. * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word). * Hands-on experience using and applying military and commercial maintenance publications, including: o Instructions for Continued Airworthiness o Overhaul Manuals o Technical Orders o Wiring Diagrams o Parts Illustrated Manuals * Ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive process improvements, and support strategic decision-making in aerospace maintenance planning.
