Duties:
Process lead in feasibility studies Lead SQAM activities (Process) Lead and approve MIFC/Value stream mapping activities Create weld jig concepts Create stamping sheets Review and approval weld jig designs Weld Jig evaluation and buying off weld jigs Tooling evaluation and buying off tooling Plant engineering and trouble shooting of processes, machinery, tooling etc. Designing of manufacturing processes Industrialization of projects to production buy off phase, new product launches such as localization tooling/non-automotive components Ensure there is an effective and cost-efficient structure in place. coach and develop a team that meets agreed objectives and which delivers best practice results, added value and continuous improvements. Minimum Requirements:
Qualification in Engineering Minimum of 8 years’ experience in production/process engineering in an automotive environment. Sound knowledge of SQAM, VDA6 and other customer requirements. Knowledge and understanding of CAD Knowledge and understanding of IATF 16949, ISO14001 and VDA6.
