You will help to ensure that patients and physicians have the medicines they need, when they need them. **What You Will Achieve** You will monitor and respond to basic functioning needs of area equipment, i.e. line speed, feeding product, line clearances, cleaning, loading or unloading materials adhering to all SOPs, cGMPs (current Good Manufacturing Practices), plant quality, safety, and documentation systems requirements. As part of the Technical Operations team, you are recognized as a subject matter expert with specialized knowledge and skills in procedures, techniques, tools, materials and equipment. You will be entrusted with adapting standard methods and procedures by applying your knowledge, prior work experience and requirements. Your business awareness of cross-organizational impact on project delivery will elevate the quality of project deliverables. You will arrive at decisions on which methods and procedures are the best fit for different work situations. You will assist with training others and reinforce behaviors that will help us achieve our goal of providing the best healthcare to patients. The **Senior Production Operator III** is responsible for the proper operation and maintenance of assigned production equipment. Performing routine preventative maintenance and repair of production equipment, and operation of the equipment during manufacturing. Coach/trainer for others. SME for the process operations as it relates to the production equipment within respective area. SME for operations and technical resources outside the department. **How You Will Achieve It** + Self-motivated with ability to work in a team environment and independently. + Work in a clean manufacturing environment, requiring special garments to be worn. Demonstrated proficiency in gown/de-gown (i.e. aseptic) process. + Responsible for the proper operation of production equipment, equipment downtime, and scrap rate. + Perform machine set-up, repairs, adjustments, changeovers, emergency repair/replacement, and preventative maintenance on production equipment per the applicable procedures. + Interact and interpret data from production equipment automated control systems and displays. + Adhere to all safety requirements (e.g. PPE, LOTO, etc.) and process step requirements (e.g. SOP, Batch Records). + Communicate and inform management of all safety issues, quality issue, and equipment repair plan of action recommendations. + Communicate effectively with team members and management to achieve production deliverables and schedule adherence. + Support the Integrated Manufacturing Excellence (IMEx) activities (e.g. Continuous Improvement (CI), Standard Work (SW), and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) including tracking metrics). + Demonstrated proficiency in current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Documentation Practice, and following detailed instructions. + Demonstrated proficiency working work with automated production equipment. + Demonstrated proficiency in troubleshooting and Root Cause analysis. + Certified Trainer. Coaches and trains new hires. + SME of the production equipment within respective area. + SME for operations and technical resources outside the department. + Partners with PES in planning and organizing shutdown activities. **Qualifications** **Must-Have** + High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and 3+ years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience. + Problem solving mindset. + Possess necessary mechanical skills to perform the required machine set-up, repairs and adjustments in order to keep equipment operating efficiently. + Proficiently operate/maintain various standard maintenance tools/equipment including basic hand and power tools, multi-meters, and other mechanical equipment. + Ability to read, interpret, and perform job duties described in operating procedure, product batch records, and other equipment related documentation (e.g. vendor manuals, P&ID, schematics, drawings, etc.). **Nice-to-Have** + 5+ years' of relevant pharmaceutical manufacturing experience as operator/mechanic. + Technical school/ Auto Mechanic Program Certificate and/or Industrial maintenance/repair experience. **PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS** + Stand 8-12 hours per shift, sit 2-4 hours per shift, use computer terminal 1 hour per shift. + Change into area required garments (i.e. scrubs, shoes, PPE, safety glasses) 2-3 times per shift. + Work around moving/rotating equipment, work around chemicals, work in hearing conservation area, work on knees or non-standing position occasionally for repairs. Requires physical activity for equipment repair, adjustment and operation of equipment. + Respond to visual/audible warning and alarm indicators, respond to color or other visual indicators. + Walk on floors/catwalks, climb stairs/ladders + Must be able to lift 50 pounds **NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS** + This position works as a 6am to 6pm day shift with rotating days off. + Support production schedule and project schedule which may require after hour support and weekend coverage. + Ability to work overtime as required. + Travel required only for special projects if assigned. **Other Job Details:** + Last day to Apply: December 18th, 2024 + Eligible for Relocation Assistance: NO + Work Location Assignment: On Premise The salary for this position ranges from $24.88 to $41.46 per hour.
