Senior Production Planner

As a Sr Production Planner here at Honeywell, you will be\nresponsible for leading globally across the supply chain network to gather and\nmanage information about our businesses' capacity to meet customer demand. You\nwill report directly to our Production Planning Manager and you will work out\nof our Chandler, AZ location.

In this role, you will impact and improve the supply chain\nplanning & execution process within the SBG business. You will execute the\nvision and goals for your Materials Planning function and manage the people and\nprocesses to achieve excellence in SIOP, supply planning, inventory &\nreplenishment planning management, and resolution of supply chain issues. As\nthe Sr Production Planner, you will lead the activities related to the purchase\nof material, material planning, production planning, inventory control, and\nshipping/receiving. You will lead the development of AOP and STRAP, provide\ndirection to your team to achieve organizational objectives and drive\nfunctional excellence and continuous improvement. You will be a proven team\nleader and can lead complex global project teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute the monthly plan (SIOP) and all\nassociated initiatives within the business to achieve on-time shipments to meet\ninternal and external customer needs.
Drive efficiency across the supply chain through planning\nand forecasting material replenishment and a supply schedule that anticipates\nand adapts to variable demand requirements in support of the operating plan\n(SIOP).
Strategize with the broader supply chain team on all\nopportunities to level-load the plan to drive improvements in service, quality,\ninventory, on-time shipment & delivery, order fulfillment, cycle time,\ncapacity management, and growth.
Anticipate and mitigate implications of problems and gaps\nto the plan (SIOP) and accurately communicate/escalate.
Liaise between cross-functional departments such as\nProcurement, Logistics, Engineering, Finance, and Manufacturing.
Identify areas for process improvement and development\nwithin all levels of the operation.
Challenge current manufacturing strategies to ensure that\nthe best process and most customer-oriented strategies are being utilized.
Accountable for team key metrics: Inventory accuracy,\nsafety stock, customer on-time delivery (OTTR), and drive root cause and\ncorrective actions.

YOU MUST HAVEUS Citizenship to obtain or maintain a security\nclearance
6+ years' experience in Supply Chain within a\nmanufacturing environment
3+ years of project management experience
Strong project management and problem-solving skillsWE VALUEBachelor's Degree
Experience in Materials Management, Operations, SIOP, Inventory Management, MRP MPS, Procurement Logistics, and Manufacturing
Experience in manual planning
Expert in material control systems such as MRP/SAP systems
APICS or CPIM Certification
Ability to influence and collaborate with all levels of the organization
