Senior Program Manager, Global Logistics
Description We are seeking an experienced Senior PM to lead the strategic expansion of warehouse operations in China. This key leadership role will drive the end-to-end execution of our warehouse expansion initiatives, critical to supporting rapid growth in the region. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of facility expansion projects, including planning, construction management, systems integration, operational testing, and launch coordination. This role requires a strong background in warehouse operations combined with proven project management expertise to deliver complex infrastructure projects on time and within budget. Key job responsibilities Lead comprehensive warehouse expansion projects from conception through successful implementation Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Engineering, and local contractors Oversee construction activities and ensure compliance with quality standards and local regulations Direct systems integration, testing, and commissioning of new warehouse facilities Manage stakeholder communications and provide regular project status updates Ensure expanded facilities meet operational capacity requirements and performance targets A day in the life As a Senior PM leading our warehouse expansion in China.Throughout the day, you'll manage construction timelines, coordinate with contractors, and inspect project progress on-site. Core responsibilities include leading operational planning sessions, handling government compliance matters, and maintaining critical project documentation. You'll regularly interact with construction teams, global leadership, operations teams, and IT systems partners to ensure smooth project execution. The role requires close collaboration with various stakeholders both on-site and globally. Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of program or project management experience - Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership - Experience defining and executing program requirements - Experience leading process improvements - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams Preferred Qualifications - 8+ years of managing stakeholders in cross-functional project experience - Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
