In this role you will engage with Design, Engineering, Product Management and Operations teams to manage the design process for our innovative consumer products. You will own all the “how and when” aspects of the design process from the first concept to a product on the market.
Key job responsibilities
As a Senior Program Manager for Industrial Design, you will be responsible for coordinating the design efforts within the Lab126 Product Development Process (PDP). This will involve working across multiple programs to develop a range of consumer electronics, from home to mobile, from product to accessory. You will partner with cross-functional teams, including ID, UX, Product Design, Hardware Program Managers, and Operations, to ensure necessary process steps are planned and executed, enabling smooth and reliable progress against target schedules.
Key responsibilities include PDP planning, owning Industrial Design development schedules, communicating status, coordinating design activities, supporting the design team in defining and implementing standards, approving designs and samples, and handling logistics like model orders, meeting and executive review coordination, travel planning, and documentation. You will also be responsible for coordinating resources across the Industrial Design team initiatives.
